About Me
I have Masters and Doctoral degrees in Social Work and have completed a four-year program in relational psychoanalysis. I’m an avid learner – always reading, participating in advanced training, and keeping abreast of the latest research. Upon this foundation, I’ve integrated a variety of other approaches including EMDR, CBT, and IFS.
In addition to my experience as a psychotherapist, I have a decades-long career working as a non-profit leader, developing and overseeing numerous programs for adults, youth, and families, and I have extensive experience in organizational management.
In addition, I’ve taught at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and at the Training and Research Institute for Intersubjective Self Psychology, and have published and presented papers on the treatment of dissociation and trauma, play therapy, parenting, addiction, and reducing sexual transmission of HIV.
